32-Day Commitment....Day 1

4-9-14
32-Day Commitment

Today I have accepted a challenge. My goal for the next 32 days will consist of learning a new word everyday. I have always wanted to expand my vocabulary and never take the time to do it, so I'll start today. I have installed a "word of the day" app on my phone. I plan to take the featured word of the day, learn how to pronounce and spell it, then use it as many times in that day as I can. We shall see how many new words stick in my head.

Merriam-Webster's word of the day for 4-9-14 is:
rancid
I actually know this word, but rarely use it. We will see if I can work it in to today's conversations.
